What's an engine?

Mix oil and air in a cylinder to create combustion. An engine can do this at high speeds. If it works properly, a ship can move without wind you see!

This starts a long dialogue about Lexis' kymograph, which records energy patterns, and moved like crazy when the shit with Gades went down. He then invites us to test it out, and it records huge amounts, Guy goes first and it's 4x anything he's seen, Selan is 8x, and Maxim is off the fucking charts. Think, uh. . . the thing scientologists use to measure thetans or whatever. Let's jump ahead:

So anyway we decide to pick the flower for her on the mountain to the south. It should be a good relaxing break from stabbing monsters, right?

Not only can it smash some things like rocks, it can also be used to push pillars that can normally be pushed by hand from far away! WOO!

You can break these black rocks with the hammer. Hey I remember seeing some like this before, when I said I'd be coming back, huh. . .

Here's a cool puzzle, and this one is actually completely optional, but the rewards are worth it like whoa. Each time you step on a button, it turns on a teleporter. As you walk across the spikes, they go up. If you make it to a teleporter, it lowers one row of spikes blocking the path off to the right. Get all three, and you get a huge reward. It can be tough, but I'm awesome so

Not as good as the Mega Ax, which sucks, cause it's super effective against flying enemies and there are some annoying flying jerk here.

Through that door were stairs which took me out here oh hey nice view.

Ghost ride da 'nips (Animal Crossing goons) also not his subpar AGL and HORRIBLE MGR. He isn't exactly a replacement for Dekar, but he's pretty awesome. Monster DEF and STR.


I can use these arrows to jump across here.


I still don't understand what the fuck about Tengu. They're like flying Japanese Goblins or something.


This is another one of those spike raising path puzzle things, with a twist. The paths change depending on which entrance you come through (the bottom one was hidden by vines), and you can only use the hammer/bombs when you're on a panal with no spikes, so to blow up that wall with the hammer and get the chest on the left you have to enter from the bottom.


Once you've blown open the wall with the hammer, you can enter it from the top entrance. You can also only get to the exit stairs from the top entrance.


Why did it have to be snakes


It's apprently pretty good.


You have to fall through a hole to get to this room, I should've taken a pic of the room above it, I'm a little flaky sometimes.


This is a good sword, but in retrospect, I should've equipped it on Maxim for the boss battle, because Selan was busy healing or using magic.

This is a rather short dungeon.
